boostinzx Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Hey guys/girls... I have run into one stump after another with this site that I am trying to develop. Everything is fine except for the shipping... I need to find a module or a way to charge shipping based on each product, but each product is offered in different sizes (which are choose able by attributes assigned to the product). I have tried to use the table rate, where it is based on price, which seems to work, but the only problem i run into is where if you buy 2 of the smaller priced products, it will charge you the next rate, and not double of the rate that it should be charging... For example... I have a product that is $3.50... if you add 1 to the cart, it charges 5.70 shipping, which is what it should be... then if I add 2 of the product that is $3.50 instead of doubling the $3.50 rate, it charges the next shipping rate up, which is 6.70...I cannot setup a price per product shipping module, because technically I only have 1 product, but the product has multiple attributes that affect the price, anywhere from 3.50 - 77.50... and they all require different shipping rates... If anyone has any ideas on how I may more easily set this up, I would extremely appreciate it... Thank you in advance, and I hope my thread makes sense... -Ian Quote

boostinzx Posted July 16, 2008 Author Posted July 16, 2008 The only thing that I don't think will work about that is that my product doesn't actually have a price... if you follow the link you will see what i am up against :) http://www.marturiaphotography.com/product...;products_id=90 That is how each product will be listed... when you select the appropriate attribute, it will add that much to the base price of 0.00 for the product... is there a way that I can get that contribution to still work with what i have? I like to make things difficult I guess, lol Quote
