Ajeh
You could load the Handy Dandy Attributes Sorter and Copier v5.0 that I wrote ... :D It should be under the Attributes Copier in the Add-ons. I forget off hand the exact area it's in but try Features or Other
Ajeh
Then again ... I did not read you just want this once. It's not a lot of fun to do manually and you can really break several things. But if you were to do a backup of your products_attributes table and get the lines for the product you want to copy the attributes from then edit the products_id to the new products_id number and load that in, technically you have duplicate attributes now. Ajeh
NOTE: make sure you leave the products_attributes_id blank as it will auto fill for you correctly.

Ajeh
As long as it's just you and not the code ... :D I have tested that as much as I can and thought I had missed something that might be causing a copy not to work correctly.
