jrock Posted July 15, 2008 Author Posted July 15, 2008 Yes, it is available as a contribution OK...... I suppose you have already figured out that I’m new to this. I have found a lot of posts that make reference to contributions, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to get the one I need, or what to do with it if I did. Thank you: John Quote
Guest Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 OK...... I suppose you have already figured out that I’m new to this. I have found a lot of posts that make reference to contributions, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to get the one I need, or what to do with it if I did. Thank you: John Go here: http://addons.oscommerce.com/ Do a search and when you find a contribution that you want - download it. Best to read the descriptions to make sure that you are downloading a full package first. Unzip the downloaded file, and you will find that most contributions have an install.txt file with full instructions on how to add the contri. Golden Rule - ALWAYS back up any files before altering them - and backup your database. Most contributions also have a dedicated thread in the forums for support. You will need a php editor, or at least notepad2.exe to edit any php files. It may seem overhwelmingly complicated at first, but have a go, persevere, and you will soon find that adding most contributions is pretty straightforwards. good Luck! Quote
