Guest Posted July 15, 2008 Share Posted July 15, 2008 Hi all, I've got a question about how oscommerce functions for a digital download site. When a customer purchases a digital product (software, mp3, whatever) and is transferred to a payment gateway, does the gateway immediately return information to oscommerce cart that their purchase was successful so that they can immediately download? I tried setting up cubecart with my ccnow account, and it seems that this functionality is not available. I want customers to have immediate access to the products they download, after the card has been processed, but before the standard 3-6 hour fraud check that occurs after a card is run. Any tips on which gateway will function this way? 2CO? As long as the gateway is returning some information to the shopping cart that triggers access to download I'll be golden.
