bijanbwb Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 I am moving a working installation from one domain to another. Both domains are registered on the same hosting account, so you would think it would be pretty easy. Basically I copied the admin and catalog folders and the db seems to be working fine too. The site displays correctly whenever I manually enter any address into my browser, but every link on the site actually points back to my original installation. Thus, if I type http://www.SITEB.com/catalog/contact_us.php into the browser, it leads me to the right page. But clicking on the Contact Us link just leads me to http://www.SITEA.com/catalog/contact_us.php I've tried editing the configure.php files, but maybe I'm missing something?
germ Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Check to see if this file exists: /catalog/includes/local/configure.php If it does be certain it contains the correct info as osC will use this info if this file is present. If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you. germ Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Another something to try would be in the Admin on SITEB set "Use Cache" to false. Save it. If none of this fixes your problem, I don't know anything else to suggest.... If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
