She said she'd do it for £500+VAT, and I was wondering if it's really worth that kind of money, or if she's trying to make a bit of money out of somebody she thinks doesn't know any better. Here are my terms and conditions etc: Shipping & Returns Please be aware that Barton's Bookstore currently only ships to the UK. Please note that while we do always try to dispatch your order within 48 hours of purchase, this is not always possible. If we cannot dispatch an order within 48 hours we will inform you via the contact information you provide. We will contact you once your order has been dispatched, please allow two weeks for delivery before enquiring about an order. Barton's Bookstore is not accountable for any damage caused during transit. We do however provide the option of postal insurance. Barton's Bookstore reserves the right to refuse a transaction without prior warning. Please check the quantity of an item before purchasing, Barton's Bookstore is in no way obligated to provide any item(s) that were not in stock at the time of purchase. Privacy Notice We maintain a commitment to our customers privacy with strong policies that respect and ensure the security of your personal information. The information provided to us is used solely for credit card processing and to ensure that the order is shipped correctly. If you sign up for our email newsletter, information may occasionally be sent to keep you informed about changes and special offers and other store information. Under no circumstances will your e-mail address or any other private information be given or sold to a third party. Please note that this website uses cookies. Cookies are small files that collect non-specific information about customers that cannot be read by any person. Conditions of Use These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods by Barton's Bookstore. The sale of goods to minors. Due to very strong laws within the UK regarding the collection of data about any person not legally recognised as an adult, we cannot accept any orders made, or keep accounts registered to, any person under the age of 18. We are not responsible for any abuse of this rule. This includes, but is not limited to, entering false information or getting a person who is legally recognised as an adult to purchase any product for a person not legally recognised as an adult. Damages. Barton's Bookstore is not responsible for any damages caused by the purchase of an order or use of an order once it has arrived. The buyer accepts full responsibility for any and all purchases he/she makes within the shop and the use of any such purchase after the item has been dispatched. Personal Information. The submission of personal information such as names, addresses and contact information is stored within our database whenever an account or purchase is made. By signing up to this shop and by making any such purchases, you are agreeing that Barton's Bookstore is allowed to keep such information for future use, this includes but is not limited to being added to the shops mailing list. Ah, cheers for that, and I do believe it's spelt recognised here in the UK ;) Other than that, thanks for pointing out those changes I need to make, much appreciated. :)
