Guest Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Hi, Today the following message come up on every page on my website "Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: xxx/public_html/whodirect.co.uk/includes/configure.php. " The rights had not been changed before this message appeared. I have now changed the rights to 644 but the message still appears. How can I get rid of it - HELP Please  Thanks Tim
Jack_mcs Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Try setting the permissions to 444. You may have to use your hosts control panel, regardless of whether your ftp program shows them changed or not. Guest Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Thanks Jack. :D Worked with the hosts control panel. Do you have an idea why it would suddenly pop up when no changes had been made? Tim
Jack_mcs Posted July 15, 2008 Posted July 15, 2008 No, it shouldn't do that. Jack Support Links: For Hire: Contact me for anything you need help with for your shop: upgrading, hosting, repairs, code written, etc. All of My Addons Get the latest versions of my addons Recommended SEO Addons
