Uploading a product image over 600kb - help !

Hi All, I'm having an issue when uploading an image as a user when it's over 600kb. When a user tries to upload an image larger than this it just goes to a white screen and does nothing. Ideally I am looking for a solution that allows the user to upload any size image and then automatically resizes it for them, as most users dont know how to resize and image.

 

 

Any help would be much appreciated !

Your timeout issue is nothing to do with osC so you might want to ask your host if they have limits set for third party uploads. You could use one of the thumbnail mods to resize an image's output but they will maintain their original size on your server.
