sakura92983 Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Hey there. This is my first time using OS Commerce, so I am a bit new to all of this. I installed a template onto my OSC site and I think everything went well except for one problem. When you load the site, it gives the following error at the top of the page: "Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home2/onestopm/public_html/osc/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file." I have tried changing the permissions to both 777 and 706, which I read on another site were the two to use....but I still get the same error message. What should it be set to?

sakura92983 Posted July 14, 2008 Author Posted July 14, 2008 Thank you for the help! Changing the permissions to 444 finally did the trick. I have one more question....I'm working with the Greenmania template and I want to put a description above the products on my index page. My problem is that my TEXT_MAIN isn't showing up on the index page. I checked over my coding and everything looks right. Is there perhaps another file or includes page that could be blocking this from showing up?
