Main content ($content)

hi people, any suggestion would go a long way. am using the sts template to redesign the layout of the website, the trouble am having is when i include the main-content ($content)

it also output the (what is new box and information box) is there a way to exclude these two boxes.

 

below is the section i just want to output together with the product of that month:
