Guest
Ensure that your config.php in /admin/includes/ folder has correct database parameters. Does it help? Sunny

Guest
yes, it is configure.php ... sorry for the typo there! I really wonder if you can use 1 database for 2 os's. I guess not. Sunny.
loxly
If they are using the same database they will both have the same data :-) So you can have 2 stores, and chance the appearance, but they will have the same admin and products and users etc. You would have to set up a second database to change the admin I think. Guest
It is possible to run x amount of shops on one server, obviously after a while there may be performance issues, but with only 2 that shouldn't be an issue. shop would be setup like so yourdomain.com/shop1/catalog yourdomain.com/shop1/admin and run this on database shop1 and the second shop yourdomain.com/shop2/catalog yourdomain.com/shop2/admin and run this on database shop2 hope this is clear enough cheers barry[/b]

Guest
i database can run 2 shops but they share all the data, so really all that would be different would be the layout and colour schemes. In reality, for x amount of shops you require x amount of databases. cheers barry
