Creating new info pages in 3 easy steps

Complete newbie. Been reading non stop for a couple of days. I bought a template and wanted to add a group discount page. Is this all I have to do?

 

 

1. copy the code of any of the info pages found in /catalog (ie: about_us, privacy). Change every instance of word 1 (either privacy, about_us, conditions) and replace it with your new name. Create newfilename.php with that code.

 

2. repeat step 1 but now copy and paste the code of one of the info files found in catalog/includes/languages/english/ and use that code (after editing it) to create a new php called newfilename.php

 

3. add the following to catalog/includes/filenames.php

 

  define('FILENAME_NEWFILENAME', 'newfilename.php');

thats how i made my donations page.. i cheated and copied and pasted the conditions page and entered my own language defines.. eventually i will have to add pictures and a link to an outside website and probably some tables.. but its that easy
