Language options - ENGLISH ONLY!

Hello all,

I want to make sure my store is displaying in English everywhere, in Europe, Asia, the whole world. I have deleted the different language options in the language section except for English. While in Europe I noticed my store showed up in Germany in the German language, with NO store, as if it was not installed yet. So no products, no sales there. How can I over ride any language options and ensure my store shows up in ALL browsers in English?

I imagine the reason you had no products or text or anything, almost like an empty store, is because you have probably only been modifying the english part of the site, along with define code etc.

 

Have you gone into your administration panel - Gone To Localization - Then Down To Languages. Make sure that the only language visible in there is English if you only want english, then it will become default and there is no way - as far as i know - that it will show up in any other language.

 

 

Might be a long shot but you haven't installed in Multilingual Contributions or anything have you?
