sideline Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I have a usps shipping and it doesn`t show the remove or edit in the admin. It shows install, I try to install and it goes to a white page. If i hit back page and then just click on the usps line itself it will open the module up. It has the username and password in their also. Everything shows correct except the shipping options are all unchecked. I then check the ones I want and hit update. It goes right back to the INSTALL and does not save the info. Any Ideas would great.

Guest Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 I tryed that too :( If you have backup files in either of the shipping directories, try removing them. Can you try your usps on another server? Where did you get it from? Is there a later copy in the add ons area?

The other way is go to db. shipping modules installed will have cod.php;usps.php modify this and remove usps.php from here. triktoys Posted December 20, 2010 Posted December 20, 2010 I had the same problem, here is the fix. what happened is you somehow messed up something in the code when you were editing the file you were in. This then for some strange reason knocks out the ability to install and uninstall the shipping module in the control panel. here is how to fix- Get the latest or same copy of whatever code it was- I just googled the entire path of the file i needed to fine it , i.e. includes/modules/shipping/usps.php or try googling the file name alone - "usps.php" or use your backup code if you have it. edit the file and replace the code with your back up or the one you found save it then go back to control panel and refresh your browser it should work, at least it did for me
