di11on Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 Hi all, I'm transferring an OSCommerce shop to another hosting provider and am thinkng of taking the opportunity to move it from the catalog folder to the root folder - i.e. so my shop can be accessed at www.vintagevibrations.com rather than www.vintagevibrations.com/catalog. I'm comfortable with what I need to do re the confugration files etc. but what about the Google index? If I move the location of my shop, surely all google links will point to a location that no longer exists? How will I create redirects for every product to the new location?
