Easy Populate 2.76g-MS2 not creating categories on fly

Hi guys i am having problems with the Easy populate contrib. It is noting creating New Categories on the fly as i thought it would. I have a completely empty database and am trying to populate it using the contribute. I have added categories via the admin area then used the eay pop contrib to populate the products but no produc t shows up against a category.

 

Any one any ideas where i might look.
