NY Sales Tax

Hello all, I am very new at this and have been plugging away for quite some time getting my new osCommerce store up and running. I have gotten pretty far with my poke and hope attitude, and reading the forums. I thank everyone for posting here as it has helped me immensly. This is my first post here as I have found everything I have needed up to this point. I have tried using contributions but I seem to be making a mistake somewhere when I install as they do not work for me.

 

Can someone, anyone, please help me by pointing me in the right direction of how to configure my site to charge NY state tax properly (we have counties here that charge differently). Thanks to anyone who can help me- I am really stuck and need to get over this hump!!!!

create tax classes.

Create zones.

 

Now apply tax class to products.

 

Zones are mapped to taxes.
