JoeyT Posted January 5, 2003 Share Posted January 5, 2003 I have read many posts here about getting the tax to show for only one state. I believe I have made all the changes suggested, but I am still having a problem with it just showing tax in one state. I have taken over modifying someone's cart for them as they are stuck on a few things so I did not originally set it up. But I want to show taxes for just NJ. There is 51 zones created under United States as the country. I have 1 tax rate setup for NJ for 6% and using taxable goods as the class. I have gone in and changed the application_top.php file to 0 for products taxed. I can not find the display tax thing in either applicaiton_top.php in the catalog or other folders. So what else can I do to make this work? Would the problem be because there are 51 zones for all states? Should I remove all the zones and just have Nj? JoeyT Posted January 5, 2003 Author Share Posted January 5, 2003 I forgot to mention that I went ahead and removed all the tax rates that were there, (as mentioned in anothe post), and went to add a new rate and now none of the zones load in the drop down box so I can select them.
