Table rate shipping to UK only

Hi, I would like to set shipping on my site to the UK only and to use a shipping scale according to price of goods. If a customer tries to buy from anywhere other than UK it needs to prevent the order. Can someone please advise as to the best way to go about this?

Set up a zone for the uk only.

 

Activate the shipping module you want to use.

 

Make it available to the uk zone.

 

Remove all other shipping modules.

I've set up a zone for the UK and activated the Table Rate module (just that one is activated). The settings are as follows:

--none--

 

Shipping Zone

United Kingdom

 

Sort Order

That works fine for the UK - applies postage costs to any UK orders. However, if someone places an order from outside the UK the system lets the order through but doesn't charge any postage. Have I done something wrong/missed something?
