Help bulk import products not showing! Excel Import

I recently had my site hijacked and as i did not backup have had to start over.

Using osc admin entering categories or products one by one is no problem,

but when using excel.php on oscommerce admin for bulk install of products,

all products do not load in the correct area, but are viewable through search box.

I am trying to use Excel import (tab del. excel text file) to load products on but am stuck as the products are not showing unless i do a search for them in the search box.

Also categories are not being loaded in as well and the images are going to incorrect category.

How can i get rid of products loaded in the incorrect areas?

Can anyone please help?

Delete all entries using the site admin functionality.

 

Install Easy Populate.

 

Manually enter one product.

 

Create an ep download file.

 

Edit your excel SS into the same format and import using EP.

 

Will probably be faster in the long run, plus you get to use EP in the future.
