Opal Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Hi! I hope someone can help me, I have just uploaded an installed OS (3 times) but I am constantly having problems with the images and icons related to languages, they are always broken, all other images are fine. Can someone give me some help to solve this problem. You can check it out at:http://www.svenskopalimport.se/catalog/index.php or Thanks Eric
markg-uk Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 The English icon is found here for example (and isn't being displayed): http://www.svenskopalimport.se/catalog/inc...images/icon.gif Does such a file exist on your server?
BryceJr Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Try to re-upload a fresh batch of images(buttons, icons, etc) to their corresponding folders on your server. Using your ftp, upload as BINARY mode not AUTO or ASCII You may want to download oscommerce and extract the images from there.

The Permissions are set to 755 for the language folder and the image folder inside
BryceJr Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Look for an htacess file inside the folders where buttons and icons are placed. If you find htaccess file and htpasswd, remove it. If they are placed inside secure folders, uninstall secure folders and remove htaccess files and htpasswd files, and secure your folders back after you remove them.

I renamed the htaccess files in "includes" for catalog and admin and now everything is working just fine. Thanks again for the quick and consise help. :D
