Hi!

I hope someone can help me, I have just uploaded an installed OS (3 times) but I am constantly having problems with the images and icons related to languages, they are always broken, all other images are fine.

Can someone give me some help to solve this problem. You can check it out at:http://www.svenskopalimport.se/catalog/index.php

or

Thanks

Eric

Try to re-upload a fresh batch of images(buttons, icons, etc) to their corresponding folders on your server.

Using your ftp, upload as BINARY mode not AUTO or ASCII

You may want to download oscommerce and extract the images from there.

The English icon is found here for example (and isn't being displayed):

Does such a file exist on your server?

Thanks for the quick reply!

Yes All the folders and files are in place including the addon for swedish, All text is translated just no buttons an icons related to the different languages. The problem remains

I tried re-uploading the images to the server using BINARY but it had no effect it is as if the folder did not exist but I know it does.

The Permissions are set to 755 for the language folder and the image folder inside

Look for an htacess file inside the folders where buttons and icons are placed.

If you find htaccess file and htpasswd, remove it.

If they are placed inside secure folders, uninstall secure folders and remove htaccess files and htpasswd files, and secure your folders back after you remove them.

A really big thanks!

I renamed the htaccess files in "includes" for catalog and admin and now everything is working just fine.

Thanks again for the quick and consise help. :D
