Tasha12 Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 I did a clean installation of Xammp 1.6.5 I installed OsCommerce. My problem is that when I am on the server and point it to localhost it works fine, but if I access the program remotely using: http://ipadress/oscommerce the images does not show? The images file is there and the folder is shared. Can you please assist me?
Kanie Posted July 8, 2008 Posted July 8, 2008 In your configure.php files, is "HTTP_SERVER" set to "http://localhost" or your IP address? Try changing it to your IP address to see if that resolves the problem. I test run all of my osC developments using Xampp and have never come across this issue, but I always test using http://localhost in my config and browser.
Tasha12 Posted July 9, 2008 Author Posted July 9, 2008 I found out that what I want to do can not be done? I have a windows server with IIS and I want to set OsCommerce up on that machine and then run it on the net. Any ideas on how set osCommerce up on a windows server?

labmais Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Tasha12 I guess I can help you to solve your problem. As Kanie said, try to set your machine IP into the configure.php. You can check your IP here: Whats my IP? My msn is [email protected]. I use Xamp, Vertrigo, maybe I can help you. E-commerce? No external links please.
