Hi people,

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

In fact what im looking for is the following:

I recieve from a company a xml file that puts together 3 of my distributors databases. The xml file includes the next fields:

* article number

* Distributor

* weight

* price

* eventual taxes

* description

* picture

and some other fields.

What do i need, it need to import this to my database and this should be possible:

* i must can set a pricelift for each categorie or articele beacuse the import are buy prices for me

for example: notebook Acer distributor price: 400$ and must can set an uplift of 20%

hard disk western digital distributor price: 50$ ans must can set an uplift of 12%

Its must be easely to change this for example in the admin because my friend is gonna do the daily stuff to the shop

* I must can add and remove fields

* It must be possible to remove a field for the eyes of my client: for example the name of the distributor, i may be the only one obe who can see that.

* It must be possoble that can extract an cvs of xml at the end of the day directly sorted by distributor

* The xml has to come every night at 01.00 because of pricechanges

Is this possible and in what way. I'm having already headache of thinking about it. The most important thing is the imoort of the xml file with all of our products. About 50.000

Who can give me some tips or ideas?

The contribution Easy Populate will import data from csv files. I have not seen an xml import contribution but a search would probably find if one is there.
