Do I need to register Customers

I am new here and have search the archives for this....

 

Can I run the package to its conclusion without the customer having to log in or register.

 

Some customers are very reluctant to leave their information and would much rather

see the object of their desire, add it to their cart and then click on pay and be done with it..

There is the purchase without account contribution that you can install. The shipping details have to be entered or they will see object of their desire but not get object of their desire. They also will not be able to track the delivery of the object of their desire because they do not have an account.

With nearly 7000 posts to your name I would imagine that you know the forum quite well.

 

I did spend quite a long time putting various suggestions into the Search box and got nowhere.

 

'purchase without account contribution' would not have even entered the equation to a beginner - ME

FYI.

 

There is the red community tag at the top of the page where you will find the contributions menu item. Once there, the search is quite good.

 

The forum search is horrendous. I usually just preface a google search with oscommerce, you can be more specific. Then there is search engine which can work as well.
