How do I add a Search function and a new attribute to Product Listing

Recommended Posts

I have set-up my first OSCommerce website (www.stpauls.ph) but I think an important feature is missing... there is no Search function in the website (either by Title or by Author). By the way, I am using a template from TM.

At the backend, I also want to add a new attribute under Product Lising. I want to add a field for "Author" since the website is an online bookshop. How do I do that? Can somebody please help me?

Being new to oscomm, I really have no idea how to do that? Can you point a direct url to that "product extrafield" contribution. The Controbutions site of oscomm does not have a search function, and it is too taxing to browse through all those contributions manually.

are you using a template from a template provider/retailer? if so, adding a search box might be a little more difficult.. i just feel as thought i have seen that look before
