connaa Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 I am working with the root's index.php page. and for the left column table I added the attribut id="colleft" an saved and uploaded. The changes were not visible on in the browser or its source code. Yet when I downloaded the file from my server the changes were there. At first I thought it was my cache so I dumped it. I have tried this in 3 browsers and it still won't work. I have talked with my hosting company and he verified that there is nothing wrong with my code. Its either a server problem ( I doubt this now because I downloaded the file successfully) or I'm not soing something right. I also tried wrapping the table in a div with that attribut. Has anyone else experienced this. URL: http://thepurpleelephantantiques.com/store/ Thanks Connor Mclkelvey
germ Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Maybe I'm missing the point here... I looked at the site, and the change you made is in your stylesheet.css You don't see that in normal "source code". You have to use something like the Webdeveloper plug-in for Firefox where you can view/edit the CSS. Am I anywhere close to helping? If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
