osCommerce

The e-commerce.

Sessions - external etc

Hi.

Right, I have a website and not many products.

Say I wanted only a few pages of the website to be - say - 'ecommerce enabled',

and the other pages, like the blog and about page and stuff to just be standard html pages.

What would be the best method of ensuring that, say someone goes on a product page, adds a product

to their cart, but then goes to check the blog, then goes back again, how can I make sure their session+cart

isn't lost?

Because I've only got like 10 products and add very infrequently, I don't need the links to products and stuff

to be dynamic. I could just put mysite.com/product1.html or whatever, as I don't have loads of manufacturers and all this,

just 10 fixed products and fixed prices etc.

I will probably use STS for the pages that are 'ecommerce enabled'.

Please let me know your thoughts, I am guessing like file/cookie/mysql based sessions but I don't see many people

using these, everyone seems to use oscid. Thanks.
