Passing a flash variable to the "In Cart" page

chris Parry

Recommended Posts

I have a small flash file load in the product info box.

this flash file dynamically creates the price of the product.

within the flash file is an "Add to Cart" button (ie not to use the default "add to cart" button)

How do I pass the five variables from within the flash file onto the "in cart" page?

The variables I will have are

width

size

metal

stone

total_price

Not being a java or php expert, your advice is greatly appreciated.....

I answered you once:

I assume that was no help?

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

I meant to say thank you for your post.

It doesn't help me however pass the variables back to OSC. I can get flash to access the database, but can't work out how to send the variables within flash to the next page.

So I was hoping that someone could help explain what the process is, or what is called for the info to appear in the cart.

ie - what code is used when you click the "add to cart" button.......

Many thanks to anyone who can help....
