I was a zen cart owner, but zen-cart and Paypal IPN seems to hate eachother lately, so I have installed OSC and I'm happy with it :lol: Everything works fine except for the fact that I'm struggling for weeks to get 5 contri's to work. I've been more busy to put my back-up back then that the contri's work. I'm scared to try it again, and lose my shop again. Is there a place, person, anything in the big world that can help me with this? I'm not a programmer, html specialist or phpgenie (phpbb ok but that's it) but just a woman who wants to have a store with a couple of extra's. So please don't ask me which errors I get, cause I won't touch those thingies anymore :lol: Gratefull for ever

Contributions: Auto Backup your Database, Easy way Multi Images with Fancy Pop-ups, Easy way Products in columns with multi buy etc etc Disable any Category or Product, Easy way Secure & Improve your account pages et al.
Guest Posted July 5, 2008 Posted July 5, 2008 Okie....have to mail each and everyone of them lol I find the contribs hard to figure out, cause on the page the adjustments will up the contrib, so you have to download the contrib + each and every fix that came later, not very handy thnx for the reply

Pick ones with full package & few or no following fixes. Also if contrib is old it may not work properly with latest osC. It is so annoying when an addon has lots of little patches, particularly when it is not the author that isproviding the patches. In cases where the author has requested that people do not post patches, people still do. Anyway, look for the add on you want, check to see when the last full package was provided, check if it has a support thread and the author is still providing support. You will soon get the hang off it.
