The e-commerce.

oh good lord my site has been hacked..

Recommended Posts

i was just checking up on it and saw a few of my category names now read "hacked by saredboy" and "caprazates.org"

heres my site: http://www.sanguinetticlothingco.com/catalog/

I also noticed my site title was changed to Hacked by Sacredboy.. does this mean my admin panel was tweaked with by this crazed person? I've looked in my images folder and found a couple php files that were added and deleted them. Also, I deleted my admin folder and reuploaded it.. with no success of course. What should I do to get rid of this??? I know you guys hear this frequently and I apologize.. but PLEASE help me out I am absolutely clueless :(

thanks so much

I recommend to change the hosting, as normal hosting provide security for websites - firewall normally blocking the hackers attacks!

Please read this line: Do you want to find all the answers to your questions? click here. As for contribution database it's located here!

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

Any issues with oscommerce, I am here to help you.

Check your image folder permissions.

They should be no higher than 755

If they're at 777 it's only a question of time before you get hacked again...

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
