Hi, I am hosting with one.com and my website is at bluebarrelsurf.co.uk

I finished the installation of oscommerce yesterday by completing all four steps of the installation process. I have gone through my administration section and added new products, categories, etc. This the first website I am doing, so I not sure where to go from here. When you go to www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk the products, categories, etc. haven't changed it's just showing the standard one.com hosting page. How do I get my website to appear on www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk

Thanks,

Dan

Hi, I am not sure what the directory is, how would I find this? I uploaded the folders inside the catalog folder through ftp to bluebarrelsurf.co.uk, but, not the actual folder as I was hoping the website would appear at www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk as supposed to www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk/catalog But, the website is showing on either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many Thanks,

Dan

You upload to /public_html/ normally, so if you want it to appear in www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk/catalog upload to /public_html/catalog if you put it somewhere else you'll have to start again.

Read the Docs http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce, cPanel Docs are here http://www.cpanel.net/support/docs/11/cpanel/index.html

Its best to read & learn first, instead of jumping in blindly!!!

Hi, I have re-done the installation of the website and on page 2 it asks for the WWW Address which I have put as http://www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk/ and the Webserver Root Directory, as I want the website displayed at www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk and not www.bluebarrelsurf.co.uk/catalog what do i put in the Webserver Root Directory box, currently the box has automatically been filled in with /customers/bluebarrelsurf.co.uk/bluebarrelsurf.co.uk/httpd.www/?

Thanks again,

Dan
