I changed my domain and all my link where still pointing to my old domain. So Im thinking of re-installing my oscommerce store. I back up my database to imported afterwards. But what about all the contributions I added in MySQL, will they still be there or will I have to write them again?

You need to:

1) Transfer all your files to your new host

2) Edit the two configure.php files to reflect the new server information (if any of your addons have config info like username/password for your database for instance, these need changing as well).

3) Transfer your database from your old host to your new host. Use phpmyadmin or similar

If you do the above, you won't need to reinstall anything.

Before I asked this question, I deleted all my files from httpdocs, then after reading this question I just put them all back via FTP, I changed the configure.php page but now it's giving me an internal error message:

The directory containing /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/publicot-t.es/httpdocs/index.php cannot be world writable.

Maybe I shouldn't have deleted my files in the first place? but I put them back, don't know why its giving me this error.
