How do I limit product shown

 

 

Thinking about it, perhaps a better way then that post would be in listing file replace (71):

I am installing Ultimate SEO 5 and am in need of assistance so that I do not mess up the product listing enhancement contrib for includes/modules/product_listing.php

 

Somehow I need to do this:

Find ...

However, the file can not be found because it is already modified. Can you please show me how to make this change while not contaminating this contrib?

I think perhaps you need to look closer at osC workings first, your 'home' page is done by index.php, but what that page shows depends on where you come from when you reach it, ie it is also your categories page.

 

You can have whatever you wish shown for any particular mode, it sound like your saying u want the new_products_module to be a all products module?

Sorry if this isn't the proper place for this post, but I was wondering if there's any way to turn the manufacturer short description into a long one. I'm having everything listed in blocks and though it looks great, it'd be extremely useful if I could write even a couple of paragraphs about each manufacturer rather than just 30 or so characters.

It will show Results/Page if its set in admin to do so & there is more than one page.

The current limit is 64 chars!!! So maybe thats enough?

 

Otherwise adjust that figure in the code & for that column in the dbase with phpMyAdmin

the limit for that field type is 65,535 bytes, does that make any difference!!

Any ideas how to have 4 products on road correctly

Of course I can set it in admin, but listing show 33, 66 etc divided on 3, but I want to have 48 or 24 items on page and to correct dropdown insted 33/66 to be 20 40 60 80

I did look in database and I didn't find any thing

I'll appreciate any ideas

After 3 days it finally let me download it. The contribution works great!. One question; I am using the show-soldout v1.0 contribution as well. I would really love to get

these two working together. The code replacement to the original product_listing.php is around line 133

the product_listing.php included in your contribution does not include those lines. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same question as this guy from late 2008. The instructions you gave him them were for product listing enhancements v1.8. But since product_listing.php has been modified a lot since then to v2.8, would you be able to post the new instructions needed for this edit?

Hi All

 

I have a weird thing happening with this contributiion. Sometimes when i go to my store page the border of some of the products in the thumbnail view of the new (i call them featured) products box are missing, but not for others. Refreshing the page eventually causes them to load but this can take three or four attempts.

 

Has anyone else seen this behaviour? Any ideas?

Its a IE issue only, caused by the javascript routine running b4 the page has been fully built, check in your page-header-inc.htc file you have

onLoad=DD_roundies.addRule('.infoBoxProducts', '20px');

, if you do look at adding additional delays
