rodcar
Hi, the problem I have is I go into catalogue/categories/products, choose whatever product I want, at this point whatever product I want the info is intact on the rh side of the page, I click on edit, I see a quick flash of the information there for about 1 to 2 seconds and then a blank preview page is shown however, I do have the heading for eg Gifts, Product status - but it is blank , date available but is blank, products manufacturer and the drop down window and then I have a great big blank page, down on the right hand side, - off the screen it says preview or cancel. This is my categories file, I did have someone say it is a very very old version - thats to my web developer - this is the categories file <?php /* $Id: categories.php,v 1.25 2003/07/09 01:13:58 hpdl Exp $ osCommerce, Open Source E-Commerce Solutions http://www.oscommerce.com Copyright © 2003 osCommerce Released under the GNU General Public License */ function tep_show_category($counter) { global $tree, $categories_string, $cPath_array; for ($i=0; $i<$tree[$counter]['level']; $i++) { $categories_string .= " "; } $categories_string .= '<a href="'; if ($tree[$counter]['parent'] == 0) { $cPath_new = 'cPath=' . $counter; } else { $cPath_new = 'cPath=' . $tree[$counter]['path']; } $categories_string .= tep_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT, $cPath_new) . BryceJr
The code you posted has to do with categories box in front of your site not the admin side Try uploading a fresh copy categories.php from catalog/admin to your store's catalog/admin. Upload as ASCII.

BryceJr
Transfer a new copy of categories.php from your computer to your store via FTP or your hosts cpanel. Transfer in ASCII. It is coming from catalog/admin --> going to your store catalog/admin You can download oscommerce, if you don't have one, and extract the files from there.
