Guest
Just a quick question ... Am I right in saying that oscAffiliate only credits affiliates for sales made during the vistors first session, as opposed to some affiliate schemes where affiliates get credited for sales made during return visits within, say, 14 days? Not a problem either way, but I just want to check :? Thanks, Ali.

loxly
Configuration > Affiliate Program  I get the summary screen with ?'s for descriptions, but no place to change the settings? Do I need to have an affiliate added to the program first? Or am I blind? Debbie Quote [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
rseigel
Let's try this again. Administration > Configurtion (not Affiliates) > Affiliate Program Should give you options for email address, pay-per-sale payment rate, payment threshold and cookie lifetime. I don't have that, I looked back through my installation files and don't see it anywhere? Should I re-download the contribution and see if there were files missing in my package or is it something I just missed? The readme isn't that long and I re-read it just now. rseigel
They aren't files. You access it through the administration panel for OSC. Can't think of a simpler way to describe it.
loxly
I downloaded the latest and greatest that was added today and now that section appears :) Now, how do I translate seconds into days for the cookie duration? rseigel
Just do the math: 60 seconds in a minute. 3600 seconds in an hour. ...... ...... ...... Not hard to do.

Not hard to do. Thanks, I'm normally pretty good with math, but that makes some pretty big numbers! Quote [no external urls in signatures please, kthanks]
