Peek at the HTML source:

<base href="https://swiftysports.com/shop/">

That's the major malfunction....

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

No, I don't have.

I am very new in OSc. Please suggest what i can do for this.

Also, if I disable SSL, will I have security issues?

It worked fine last week. I might have changed the site to a secure site somewhere in hosting account or admin account but I couldn't find where it is anymore. Any idea?

Thanks!

Check /shop/includes/configure.php and change ENABLE_SSL to false ...

so it should look like this:

define('ENABLE_SSL', false);

I'd start there.

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

Yes.

Try that.

If that doesn't help post a line of code form your /shop/index.php. It's in the <head> section

Looks about like this:

<base href="<?php echo (($request_type == 'SSL') ? HTTPS_SERVER : HTTP_SERVER) . DIR_WS_CATALOG; ?>">

Then a couple of lines from /shop/includes/application_top,php

Probably aound line 41

// set the type of request (secure or not)
 $request_type = (getenv('HTTPS') == 'on') ? 'SSL' : 'NONSSL';

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

All pictures come back after change https to http in the line below.

define('HTTPS_SERVER', 'https://swiftysports.com');

But still wonder where and how I made the change.

Thanks a lot!

I have the same problem in IE . . . just a red x where I should have an image on a secure server. I changed the "enable ssl" in the config file from true to false and it makes no difference on my site. Everything works like a charm in Firefox though . . . no errors, no hitches . . . it just works!

Problem is, major percentage of users are using IE.

The web page address is http://www.jrdragracingclubofamerica.com/oscommerce2 and it works fine in IE with this address, but change the http to https and ALL my images disappear!

I am not smart enough to troubleshoot and solve this problem on my own . . . I don't have a clue where to start! Hope one of you gurus can help.

Thanks in advance.

Jim

Does this change still leave you with a secure page?

If you have problems post these lines froim your /oscommerce2/catalog/includes/configure.php

  define('HTTP_SERVER', ''); // eg, http://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
 define('HTTPS_SERVER', ''); // eg, https://localhost - should not be empty for productive servers
 define('ENABLE_SSL', false); // secure webserver for checkout procedure?
 define('HTTP_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');
 define('HTTPS_COOKIE_DOMAIN', '');
 define('HTTP_COOKIE_PATH', '');
 define('HTTPS_COOKIE_PATH', '');

If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.

I would like to thank everyone for all their help.

Below are the two lines of code that solved my instance of this problem. My cookie paths were empty. Just inserted what you see below and voila! . . . it started working in IE on secure server.

define('DIR_WS_HTTP_CATALOG', '/oscommerce2'.'/catalog/');

define('DIR_WS_HTTPS_CATALOG', '/oscommerce2'.'/catalog/');

Thanks again to everyone. :D
