jscrilla
I can't figure out why my URLs have the session ID information in them. I am using the latest OScommerce package with STS installed, among a few other contributions. Can someone help me to turn this information off? The URLs look like this http://mysite.com/store/page-c-33.html?osC...01abc63d5eb85b1 I want them to look like this: http://mysite.com/store/page-c-33.html
jscrilla
Ok, It's because I need to force cookie use to make them go away. I see. But not I can't get the error that cookies are required to go away. I've lowered my security level, added the site to trusted list, both in IE and Firefox. Frustrating... invasi0n
Hi, I don't know if this will help you, but you could have a look at Vger's thread: Remove osCommerce Session ID without Forcing Cookie Use, a new use for Ultimate SEO URL's
♥Vger
Sorry - that fix you posted the link to did not work. You cannot enable Force Cookie Use if you use Shared SSL, only if you have Full SSL or no SSL. The reason is that the http and https_cookie_domain must match exactly.
