hobaugh Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 I'm working on a site and am having trouble coming up with a professional looking design. The site is http://www.ecomade.com/catalog/ I think the site looks OK but something just screams "unprofessional look" to me. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Guest Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 maybe the colours, they are a bit painful on the old peep holes. cheers barry
burt Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 - Too many shades of blue. - The rounded corners of the infobox headers do not look good against the square infobox contents. Try making the green much darker. Try using an image in the header for the logo. Try getting rid of the rounded infobox headers.
gevans Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 I agree with burt: make the green darker and take out the rounded corners, they look weird with the square border. Also I would make the blue header a little darker and give your logo a bigger margin - it will look nicer with more space around it.
joongpark Posted January 2, 2003 Posted January 2, 2003 The site does make impression on you as it's opening up. Color is toooo bright for me...tone it down a bit. Always nice to use pastel color. You want contents to stand out, not the table borders.
