wibisono Posted June 18, 2008 Share Posted June 18, 2008 I'am new guest in this forum, and wanna to learn a lot here but, I got the message error below : Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/vol3/0fees.net/fees0_2014583/htdocs/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I already change the chmod permissons 777 to 644 in catalog/includes/configure.php also in admin/includes/configure.php but i got nothing to solve the problem. please see to http:/wibisono.0fees.net/catalog/index.php i use server # Operating system Linux #Apache version 2.2.8 (Unix) #PHP version 5.2.6 #MySQL version 5.0.51 and oscommerce-2.2rc2a Please any one could help to solve that problem above?? :rolleyes: I really appriciate any who for help. Thanks Wibisono Change the permissions to 444 on the configure file using your hosts filemanager, many people will recommend that you use a new ftp program but you cant go wrong if you use your hosts actual filemanager - changing the permissions to 444 will stop you changing the file in future quickly but it is the safest permission setting for the most important file of the store :-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
