handle Posted June 14, 2008 Share Posted June 14, 2008 Hi, In Admin/catalog/Categories/Products/ --- ADD NEW PRODUCT, there is a field there "Products Model".... How do I increase the number of characters that this field permits to be entered... presently it is allowing for 9, I need much more.... Thank you for taking the time.... gamesxs Posted June 15, 2008 Share Posted June 15, 2008 Not sure if this helps you but, if you go into your database phpmyadmin, select the table 'products', find the field 'products_model' and edit it by clicking on the pencil icon. It is set as a varchar, The lenght of which in mine is 12, you could try changing this to 64. if I had the faintest clue regarding exactly what it was that I may or may not be doing, I would stop it!!
