Not sending order email to store owner

Go to your admin and click on configuration. Look for Send Extra Order Emails To and fill in your email in this format.

 

name <[email protected]>

Done that as a temp fix, shouldn't the system send an email to the store owner email by default without having to specify extra?

That format doesn't seem to work 'name <[email protected]>', I had to just put '[email protected]' to get it to work.

No. The email is only sent to the customer.

 

If look in checkout_process.php you should see this code

// send emails to other people
 if (SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO != '') {
tep_mail('', SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO, EMAIL_TEXT_SUBJECT, $email_order, STORE_OWNER, STORE_OWNER_EMAIL_ADDRESS);
 }

That is the part that will send it to you.

I have the same problem. The checkout_process.php code is correct. The database line is correct. The admin page all looks fine. The extra_emails field works no problem.

 

It's just the Store Owner email field which won't send emails.

 

I have RC2a with Mindsparks admin.

 

Can post complete page code if necessary.
