tlelliott77
My host has just upgraded php from 4.something to 5.2.6 After the upgrade the catalog side still works fine, but the admin side is showing the following error: HTTP 500 internal server error I've tried searching these forums for a solution but can't find one. So, does anyone know what piece of code in the admin side might be causing this error? Thanks in advance for any help. Tim Elliott
tlelliott77
I think it must be something in application top but not sure whether it's some sort of obsolete command or just syntax. Has anyone else experienced similar problems when PHP was upgraded. It seems strange that the catalog side works fine but the admin side is out of order. The Mort
I am also unable to access my admin area. Did you find a solution? I don't know if we have had a php upgrade or not, the server is with United Hosting and I haven't looked in on their forums to see if there is anything happening at the moment - I will do that next. OK - I have checked with United and they upgraded the php on my server on the 10th and it was the 11th when we were unable to access the admin area. The Mort
I have raised a support ticket with United Hosting and they have put it right for me.
tlelliott77
It was United hosting. I have solved it in a different way. I downloaded the RC2 version of OSC and installed the admin section from that, then reapplied all of my changes to get back to normal.
