lindsayanng Posted June 12, 2008 Share Posted June 12, 2008 I was hoping there was some type of DONATE THE CHANGE contribution, but i have not been able to find one. I asked about one months ago and was told there was no such thing, so i figured i would look and ask again.. maybe there STILL isnt one, but there is some developer out there who wants to try it. Basically i am looking for a module that will ask the customer if they want to round up their purchase and donate the difference to a cause (one that i choose) It would probably be best for this to pop up after all the shipping is added, but should be easily bypassed so the person does not have to go through an extra step if the choose not to. A lot of brick and mortar stores around here do this and some pet stores have raised about $3,000 a month for a local shelter by doing this. I would like to do something similar. simplebabytweet Posted June 28, 2012 Share Posted June 28, 2012 I just recently installed this, and everything seems to be functioning fine. EXCEPT the key component, it does not round up. I am running v2.2, the checkbox is available on the checkout screen, it says what I want it to say about donating to JDRF. It just isn't functioning. Any ideas? I know this is an old thread just thought I would start here. Since it appears all the other threads containing "Donate The Change" are talking about wanting something different. THIS IS WHAT I WANT.
