Guest
We're not all designers, I think you can agree with me in that point. Some of us can't really tell the difference between a square and a circle... I'm always searching for new ideas and, dumb as I am, I recently found that I don't need to re-invent the wheel... :) Well, with some bucks , or none at all, you can get somebodies else design work, and apply it to your site. All legally. They call it templates, saying you usually don't get the exclusive of the design, but hey, there's nothing exclusive in this world. Well... I'm lying, I already knew of the existence of templates, many many years ago, when the dot com bubble was still a bubble. They used to be somehow, aham, ugly. :? Recently I visited some sites and found that they evolved greatly. You can start here: http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/...Templates/?tc=1 , but you will always get here: http://www.templatemonster.com . I'm in no way affiliated with templatemonster but when I see a good job I like to share. Even if you don't have the $, you can always learn and get some ideas. This "advice" is my late Christmas gift to you all. :xmas:
burt
Template Monster has some excellent templates for sale, and at very good prices. Integrating them with Oscommerce is not as easy as it sounds - it's hard work (I know, I've done it)...
toolcrazy
AND even harder for us, well, newbies. HTML isn't hard to integrate templates, but with PHP it is a very daunting task especially with OSC. Steve -------------------------
