I've lost sleep for the last few days trying to debug/making little changes to site. http://www.abuttonaway.com is the first website I've created and far nothing but a newbie. I'm pleading to all the expect out there to lend me a helping hand. I'm a college student with little budget would even pay someone to make it as exquisite as possible. I have great admiration for beautiful things and doesn't wanna give up till its close to perfect. Again, the website is http://www.abuttonaway.com. Thanks to DataMouse in advance:)
clutcher Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 What is a "showcase" image ? It's the images on the webpage. Once you go the site. You will notice all the images are just too close each other. Those are the images I want to separate. Hope this helps.

Maybe shrink this, so that your store products are brought higher up the screen. 3. Images are skewed/distorted because you're using just one image size. Set your image size in the admin screen. Then upload correct sizes and a contribution to allow for a different enlarged pic. 4. "Word of the Day" - what's that for? It's "stalwart" today, which has no link to the products you're selling. Use it for something linked to your store or content. 5. Privacy Policy is on a different template. It looks out of place with the rest of your site. 6. Icons (review stars, for example) are default. Change in catalog/images directory to something else. Perhaps gold t-shirts? 7. Languages1 - You have the USA flag as a language. Technically it's English (and should be a UK flag) 8. Languages2 - You have Spanish and German languages active, but no content. In fact, your contact page (as an example) stays in English regardless of selected language. I had a blind date last night.
