Storefront not index.php problems

Hey all

I am building a site which is incorporating a store within it - which is using OsCommerce. I have a problem whereby the "home" page of my shop is called shop.php and is NOT the index.php page of the site as the shop is only a portion of the site.

So when I click on the menu of products in my store (shop.php), it displays the categories correctly in the middle content of the page, but my left and right columns have defaulted to my index.php left and right columns, which are quite different from the shop ones. No products are listed in the menu etc.

Anyone know how to change the "default" columns of my shop.php page to show the actual categories etc, on the menu, instead of reverting to my index.php page ones?

Many thanks
