It is either going to be in /includes/languages/english.php or /includes/languages/english/modules/payment/table.php

I found it in /includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/table.php

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_TABLE_TEXT_WAY', '');

I changed this and removed the text 'best way' but on the resulting order confirmation email, it now shows

Shipping ():

I have search for hours to try and find out how to remove the brackets - can anyone point me to where it is grabbing the () from ?

Thanks for your answer, but I must be slow... :huh: Whatever I do to try to change it - I get an error on checkout_shipping.php

If I totally remove the quotes '' (the ones you show in red) - I get an error.

If I removed the quotes and also the , - I get an error.

If I try to comment the line out with // before the line - I get an error.

If I change the double '' to a single ' - I get an error.

I even thought, ok, maybe you really meant for me to put the question marks in (stretching) but no, of course that just adds the question marks in as text.

Seeing as it took me a while to figure out this massive pain heres your solution...

Find this line in the file catalog/checkout_shipping.php (approx line 122)

$shipping = array('id' => $shipping,

'title' => (($free_shipping == true) ? $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title'] : $quote[0]['module'] . ' (' . $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title'] . ')'),

'cost' => $quote[0]['methods'][0]['cost']);

unfortunately when this code was written they put these damn brackets in the worst spot for us people wanting to get rid of them...

replace this:

. ' (' . $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title'] . ')'),

with this:

$quote[0]['methods'][0]['title']),

and that's it that's all.. bye bye stupid annoying brackets :)

Thanks so much !

The code worked if I changed the line

. ' (' . $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title'] . ')'),

to

. $quote[0]['methods'][0]['title']),

with the period and space in front

Thanks so much for all the time and effort you put into figuring out how to fix this !
