grandmasterjack
anyone? Take a look at my post you just have to use the code for Euros This may help you Jack If at first you don't succeed.............................Cheat!!
Davidstokes
No this is not the problem. All my states on site are in Euro.. Even on the check out screen. It's only when you get moved to the Paypal screen is keeps the amount number i.e. €279.99 EURO but takes payment in Dollars i.e. $279.99 dollars,, It should either say in Euro or increase the Dollars to the correct value,

Davidstokes
No when you do that all the products in your shop go to 0 (zero price) so thats doesn't work.
dmnalven
The correct currency code for euro's is EUR. Once this is set in the currency configuration window, the "Value" needs to be changed to the correct conversion ratio. This can be done automatically for you by clicking the button "Update Currencies" or you may set it manually. Your "Value" setting of one is correctly converting using a one to one ratio. Davidstokes
Hi when i use Title: Euro Code: EUR Symbol Left: Symbol Right: € Decimal Point: . Thousands Point: , Decimal Places: 2 Last Updated: 07/10/2007 Value: 1.00000000 All my prices in the shop change to ZERO... I've checked the prices on each item and they are showing the correct price in the admin panel.. just in the live shop they are at ZERO.
dmnalven
What happens if you incorrectly set the currency code and manually set the "Value" (try 0.63859999 for euros or 1.565925486 for dollars if your osC default is euros)? Are you using a template? And what's up with "Last Updated: 07/10/2007"? Are you having any other issues? Has your hosting service recently updated php and/or mysql? For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
Davidstokes
Here's the site http://www.atthezone.com I have manually set the currency codes myself to 1. Yes i'm using a template. No other issues that i've seen so far. I dont know why it says the 07/10/2007 might be a time setting i've not changed. No updates on the hosting,
dmnalven
This is either a template or PayPal issue. Since you have reviewed your PayPal account, I suspect the former. Please contact your template supplier for support. For ALL problems, please review this link first -> osCommerce Knowledge Base
Davidstokes
could a template really upset the payment gateway like this?
dmnalven
It's not "upsetting the payment gateway". It's the information that is being sent, though it may also be coding issues (so I suppose that the answer is yes :-) And per your descriptions, the prices are not being displayed correctly when you correctly configure osC (per the community supported version). BTW, you are using the UK PayPal versions for a UK PayPal Account, right? herodsfoot-webworks
Hi, I've just installed OsCommerce for the very first time and have a similar problem. I'm trying to work in Sterling GBP. I created a new currency and set it as default. I created a new product and it's price showed in £ (GBP) in preview. However, in the store it showed as the equivalent $ price i.e x 1.95. So, I deleted the $ and Euro currencies just leaving the £ default. Now the price just shows as 0 in the shop (though it still shows as £20 correctly in preview). Clearly I'm missing something - but it's not the somethings listed in this thread as I've tried them all. Please Help :-))
