DataMouse Posted June 6, 2008 Posted June 6, 2008 Welcome Some pointers/feedback from me: 1. Nice site colours. I really like the gradients. 2. The site is justified left. Centre it - it'll look much nicer, and not "waste" space on my 1900 wide monitor 3. When you view a product, there's no image in the actual KONFIGURATION page. Add it in. 4. The header texts (italic) looks a bit "jagged". Maybe use a smoother font with anti-alias edge. 5. Your top header is quite thin. The rest of your colours suggest a web 2.0 layout - so why not increase the header hieght a little? 6. Your category>subcategory pages are blank. You have to select your subcategory from the left column. Maybe include teh subcategory links in the body section too. Hope this helps Danny I had a blind date last night. GrinGEO Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 Hi Danny, and thank you so much for your Feedback... Will work on it. 2. The site is justified left. Centre it - it'll look much nicer, and not "waste" space on my 1900 wide monitor Ok thanky, will fix it, problem has been, I did work on 1280 screen and never realized it... ;-) 3. When you view a product, there's no image in the actual KONFIGURATION page. Add it in. havent made all products ready it, pictures will come this days with descriptions. Like http://www.minipirat.de/mini-pcs/aopen/aop...mp965-c-8_36_37 4. The header texts (italic) looks a bit "jagged". Maybe use a smoother font with anti-alias edge. On Firefox it is great.... but on other Browser not. Do you have an idea how I could change it... I used Arial Black italic... 5. Your top header is quite thin. The rest of your colours suggest a web 2.0 layout - so why not increase the header hieght a little? I did not want to waste to much height... thats why I kept it so thin.... what could I put there for more content 6. Your category>subcategory pages are blank. You have to select your subcategory from the left column. Maybe include teh subcategory links in the body section too. What do you mean exactly with this? Thanks again for your help and Feedback, I really appreciate it. Kindest regards
GrinGEO Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 Danny do you have any idea concerning the SEO URL Mod... Cause I have hughe problems since the IDs are still visible everytime and it could cause some interferencec with Produkt names...
DataMouse Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 On Firefox it is great.... but on other Browser not. Do you have an idea how I could change it... I used Arial Black italic... The text is actually an image. You can use any font you want, but just ensure that you use an anti-alias edge. If you're using FireWork or PhotoShop to create these, there's settings in both of these for anti-aliasing. What do you mean exactly with this? If you click into a category on the left, I would expect to see something n the main window on the right. however, if you have sub-categories, you see nothing at all. You have to go back to the left menu and select teh sub-category before you see products. Change so that if there's a sub-cat, you see those listed in the main window. Danny do you have any idea concerning the SEO URL Mod I'v not used it myself. But all contributions will have a dedicated support thread. It should belinked from the contribution page.
