Product price not showing up

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have just installed for the first time and my product price does not show. I have 3 options for each product and have set them at an amount 5.00 + and 2.00 - the basic price.

When the file is updated there is no price listed anywhere and when I try to put through an order, the drop down list shows Small (-0) and Large (+0).

There is GST charged and these figures work out on the setting up page although it goes to 4 decimal places which is a pain.

I have tried writing the figures as $26.95 and 26.95 but it still doesn't show.

The Product Listing is set to Display Product Price.

Can someone please help me?

Hello Robyn,

I have the same problem and I really don't know any solution. In admin all the prices are listed how I wrote them but on the first page, in catalog, all products have the price 0.

Did you find something?

Pls let me know.

Have a good day

Regards,

Adrian

Prices Display as Zero

----------------------

The most common cause of prices displaying as zero on

your website, but showing up correctly in admin is a

change to the default currency for the English

language. There is a connection between languages

and currencies in osCommerce. If you change the

default currency for the English language to (for

example) UK Pounds (symbol =GBP) then you also

need to edit includes/languages/english.php and

where you see 'USD' change it to 'GBP'. It was

assumed when osCommerce was written that if your

language was English then your currency would be

US Dollars :D

I am still struggling with this as I am not too clued up on php.

I reset the default back to United States and the prices come up ok. When I switch to Australia it works fine in Admin but in live site is showing "0" prices.

There is obviously something wrong with the Australian setting

Title: Australia

Code: AUS

Symbol Left: $

Symbol Right:

Decimal Point: .

Thousands Point: ,

Decimal Places: 2

Last Updated: 06/04/2008

Value: 1.00000000

Can someone help please, I am doing this for an assignment and it is overdue.

I read another thread where someone was told to check the default currencies in english.php but after reading it three times I couldn't find the code in there.

Thanks Vger, I added the other note before refreshing the page and didn't see your contribution. Can you tell me what the code looks like in includes/languages/english.php because I can't find anything about default currency or USA.

I too had the same problem but Vger,s help did not seem to fix it, because I had actually deleted the USA currency and added the AUD (Australian Dollar) . <_<

I had to reload the original english.php file then add the AUD whilst leaving the USD there and just set the AUD as default.

It works fine now

Thanks Vger
